Our Christmas programme is done, our copies of Carols for Choirs tidied away for another year, and the last of the mince pies have been eaten. Our thanks go to our special guests, the Chiltern Handbell Ringers. With their help, the choir was raising money for our Christmas charity: the Silver Line - we're pleased to say that the final total reached £1000.

Following the Christmas Concert it has become a choir tradition to sing Christmas carols at Wycombe Station (where we raised £127 for Rennie Grove Hospice Care) and at John Lewis (contributing to the day's total of £900 raised for Child Bereavement UK)

We're looking forward to our new term! We've got all our new music, ready for Easter, and we're two rehearsals into the programme. At this stage it all looks a bit unfamiliar, but we know that with our Musical Director, David Cooke, to guide us (aided by our accompanist, Michael McMillan) we'll soon be feeling the buzz as the harmonies glide into place.

As always at the start of a new term: if you'd like try out singing with us, do come along to a rehearsal. And as this article explains, singing is really good for you.
